When I was in high school, the homecoming parade was always a huge deal. Back then, there were three schools, and I was a Gadsden High Tiger. Over the years, Gadsden has merged into one high school, Gadsden City High School, and it makes for wonderful community events.

The homecoming parade is just as fun as ever. Morris always enjoys going. The parade is the perfect length. All the homecoming maids are presented, the band plays, people toss candy into the crowd. It's a great afternoon outing before nap time

Our friends gathered in front of Gadsden Music to watch the parade. The kids were actually very good, because the parade entertained them. It was the mother's who caused trouble. We always want a picture to document an occasion All the children were good and pretended to pose for pictures. The product of the pictures are not great. You can tell the children wanted to watch the parade, but knew to oblige us. Even at three and four, they know it is much easier to take a few pictures than fuss, ha! The outing was perfect for our toddlers!
