4th Birthday Party

Morris had his SNOW birthday party on Tuesday, December 11th.  With his birthday being on the 26th, it is never easy to plan a party. 

The Cultural Arts Center has SNOW this winter.  Fake snow to be specific, but the kids still loved playing in the snow.  The upstairs of the Cultural Arts has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland.  They have a pit full of snow, a snowball pit, a snow hill for sledding, a snow mountain for climbing, and tons of different snow tunnels to climb through.  3-5 years old is really the perfect age for the exhibit.  The kids loved every minute.  

We are so thankful for all of our friends who came out to help Morris celebrate his birthday.  It was a wonderful night!  

This year we did things a little differently.  In the past, we have requested no gifts for Morris' birthday.  We feel that we are so blessed it is not necessary for each child to bring a gift.  This year we change it up.  Each child was asked to bring a gift to donate.  Morris took all the gifts to Fire Station #1 in Gadsden and Images Salon to donate to children in need this Christmas season.  At first, I thought Morris wouldn't understand the concept, or that it would be too hard on him.  Oh how I was wrong... Morris handed over the presents easily when I explained that not every child would get toys this season.  Both Chief Carroll and Paul Millirons were so excited that Morris brought toys.  We were so proud of Morris.  We knew that it was a tough concept for a little boy.
