Morris is funny most days. His little personality is just his. For example: he is not a dare-devil, but he is not afraid of anything. Fears: jumping into the pool off the diving board, holding his breathe under water, riding his bike too fast - all these things to me, fit into the dare-devil category. Things we are "brave" about: any mascot/Santa type figure, talking to anyone including strangers, showing off... Morris is not scared of the things most toddlers are unwilling to do. It's just his little personality.

| Morris and Afton waiting to sing. |
I knew when it was time for his first performance he would do great. The Sunday before Thanksgiving The Cherub Choir at church was asked to sing in the service. The Cherub Choir is the children in the church that are ages 3K-5K. That alone is scary enough to wonder how the event would go. In the past, we have seen children cry, hang on the banister, and scream the words. I didn't think any of that would be a problem for Morris, but you just never know.

Morris did great. He stood on the stage, sang some of the words, bust mostly looked out into the crowd observing people. When it was all said in down, it was a huge success. I was filled with joy over Morris' first performance.

| Makes me giggle that Morris kept his hands in his pockets the entire time. He thinks he is a big boy when he has pockets. |

ReplyDeleteLove you Catherine. It make me smile too. Just wait until you have children. The stress and joy go hand-in-hand.
