Let's Be Honest

Our elf, Sparkleberry, is wearing me out!  I have no clue why I started him so early this year.  Last year I waited until around December 15th.  That way I only had to deal with him for 10 days.

This year, I was overly ambitious.  I kept seeing people post on facebook about their elf and I started feeling peer pressure.  Yes, peer pressure from an elf and facebook.  Who knew, but I felt pressure to bring Sparkleberry back early in December

Now he is here, been here for days, and I am worn out with him.  The kids adore Sparkleberry.  They like looking for him, laughing at his pranks, but they don't have to think of all the ideas.

Jared informed me that he is not creative, therefore, I am in-charge of Sparkleberry.  Many nights, I go to bed and completely forget.  Jared has to come get me and remind me to move the elf.  UGH!!!!

I am looking forward to Santa picking Sparkleberry back up!

Even though Sparkleberry is wearing me out, he has been a busy boy...

After Morris' birthday party on Tuesday,  Sparkleberry thought he would play with the extra balloons.  We had balloons hanging all over the dining room chandelier thanks to Sparkleberry.

Gazing up at all the birthday balloons.
Sparkleberry plays tricks on Morris all the time, but Thomas also loves looking for him.  The boys thought it was hilarious to find Sparkleberry wearing a diaper and holding a pacifier.

Sparkleberry decided to watch a little Disney.  This boys were so worried!  Since we can't touch Sparklberry how were we to change channels.  Tricky elf, he took the remote from mommy and daddy's room.
Sparkleberry tried cooking breakfast.  He wasn't very successful.  Good thing we know where Jack's is!
Even though he can't cook, he did a great job setting the table.  The boys  new plates were perfect for  Jack's pancakes.
