The Christmas Parade in Gadsden is always the first Monday in December come rain or shine. This year, it was rain... Jared loaded Morris up and off they went to Gadsden Music to watch the parade. Normally a huge crowd of friends, people who work at the store, and family gather at Gadsden Music to watch. This year Morris and Miller were the only ones willing to brave the weather for some fun. There are many benefits to watching the parade at the store: tons of entertainment inside the store when bored, huge windows to look through when cold or raining, and almost an entire block without other large stores so the kids can roam up and down the sidewalk. Gadsden's parade is great for a small town parade. It is filled with marching bands, candy, and just general entertainment. Morris and Miller enjoyed catching candy and were mesmerized by almost everything in the parade. This is the third year Morris and Miller have watched the parade together. Thomas can't wait for them to include him next year. The Christmas season has started off wonderful in 2011.
Welcome to The Gladdens in Gadsden... We are a family of four (Jared, Amy, Morris, and Thomas), plus our dog, Louis. We rely on our faith in God and our strength in each other to get us through each day. I hope you follow us on our wild journey that we call our life.
