Gladden Christmas

We had a great time on Saturday celebrating Christmas with Jared's family. We have started a new tradition of celebrating Christmas with the Gladden's the weekend before Christmas. Everyone seems to enjoy celebrating early and visiting. Morris loved seeing Jared's sister, Jennifer, and her husband, Adam. Morris had a great time lounging around in his pajamas all day. He was a lazy boy. Once everyone was at the Gladden house, Morris was ready to play Santa and pass out gifts. He started by giving Grand and Pop their gifts. After a few minutes of watching others celebrate, he was ready for someone to hand him his gifts... First Jennifer and Adam gave Morris his new BIG TRUCKS! He loves to push things in his trucks, or better yet, for someone to push him in the trucks. Morris is obsessed with trucks right now. So, the trucks from Jennifer and Adam were perfect! Then from upstairs come Pop... ho, ho, ho.... Morris' eyes were bright as he saw Pop carrying a present from him and Grand. Morris was mesmerized by his new big boy tricycle. He loved the blue, red, and yellow... he adored the bell... and he immediately started loading up his basket. Morris could not wait for someone to push him and show him how to use the pedals. Pop and Grand had picked the perfect Kettler Tricycle to give Morris for Christmas. The morning of fun and presents sadly ended and it was time for Morris to come home for his nap. He could hardly control himself on the way home. He kept looking at all his toys riding behind him. Morris came home and took a long nap dreaming of all his new toys. To top the night off, we giggled, as each truck and the tricycle had to be rolled into the bathroom to watch him take a bath. Morris truly loves his new toys. On Sunday after a busy day of church and Santa, Morris took a short nap. Jared and I couldn't understand. When he got up and started talking, we knew exactly what he wanted. He was still so proud of his new toys... he had to go show Miller. Morris hopped on his new tricycle and off he went to Miller's house with Jared. Morris and Miller both loved ringing the bell and playing with the tricycle. Shhh... don't tell... but Miller is getting a Kettler from Santa... good thing he loved it! Soon.. the boys will be riding "bikes" through the neighborhood... watch out Clubview!
