Thursday was Morris' last day of "school" at the Early Learning Center until after Christmas Break. Which means Thursday was PARTY day. Morris started telling me early that he wanted to go to school. He knew they were having a party that involved cupcakes. He was so excited. He picked out his favorite Christmas outfit to wear that has the Little Drummer Boy on it. The
Little Drummer Boy is his favorite Christmas book. After the right outfit and packing our bag, we were off to

party! A party with two year old's is wild and very hectic. I arrived at ten o'clock right as the party was kicking off. The parent helpers served the kids an early lunch: chick-fil-a nuggets, fruit, and a cupcake. Do you want to guess the only thing on the plate the kids ate... CUPCAKE! Well, to be honest, the kids really ate ICING! The parents and teachers just laughed and laughed. We didn't think that putting the cupcake down first would mean nothing else would be touched. The kids were "wired" and ready to play after their full dose of sugary icing! Morris and Char

lie starting running around the room showing us their favorite toys: Elmo, vacuum, the slide, the cooking station, books... you name it they loved it. Morris had a little problem during play time sharing. He understands that you are supposed to share, but when I tell him it is someone else's turn. He loudly states that it is Morris' turn... What can I say, he is an only child! I taught him well... All the kids were having a tough time sharing the new toys. Instead of teacher gifts, the teachers ask for certain new toys for the classroom. The new toys were items like a vacuum, ironing board, new food for the kitchen, just general kid items. Morris feel in love with the vacuum. I can't explain it, he has a vacuum at home, but this one was special. He vacuumed, vacuumed, and vacuumed some more. You might think I vacuum all the time at home, WRONG! All the parents had a great time watching our kids play and taking pictures. After about an hour, the kids were all ready to pass out from their sugar high. We packed it up and headed home. What a fun party in the young two's class...
