The Girlfriend Gala is a huge event here in Gadsden involving 700+ women all raising money for the United Ways Success by Six Program. The Success by Six program focuses on helping not only children in need, but all children. Morris is part of the Success by Six reading program. You are able to sign-up and receive a free age appropriate book for your child each month. The book arrives in your mailbox. ook authors. - At the Girlfriend Gala you are seated at a table with a hostess. My hostess for the past two years has been a close friend, Holly. My table included eight amazing women that I am proud to call friends: Brandi, Kelly, Holly, Kelly, Kelli, me, Jenny, and Rose Marie. Holly goes all out for our table. She works for a year organizing every detail about the themed table. This years table was all about BABIES. Each lady at the table is a mother and two of us have our second baby on the way in the spring. This was the first year the Girlfriend Gala had every seen a baby table. It was a huge hit. Everyone wanted to walk by and see the ornate decorations and of course the pregnant girls. Holly's decorations were AMAZING! The centerpiece was two feather wreaths, one boy and one girl, since I am having Thomas and Jenny is having Emily. The table had every inch of it full of baby photos. Each mother had their child featured in their own special frame, that is 15 children total including 3 sets of twins! It was great! Holly made us all feel so special. The Girlfriend Gala was a great evening.
We celebrate a wonderful night out on the town. Thank you to all our amazing husbands for keeping 15 children on girls night out!
