Peonies

Do you believe in signs... I do! When we bought our house, 259, I knew that I loved it! I am reminded all the time of the small things around this house that made me fall in love with it.

Each year, our yard has the most beautiful pink peonies. Pink peonies and pink hydrangeas are my favorite flowers. Peonies are very seasonal. Even when in season they typically run $10 a stem and peony season is only a few weeks long.

Last year, the peonies produced many flowers, but I knew they could be better. Since last spring, I have tended and babied our peonies. This year we produced around 30 peonies. They were stunning. I had them throughout my house for three weeks.

Pink peonies... a reminder that life is good at 259!
