Tonight Was the Night - 1/30/11

Tonight was the night... Morris slept in his big boy bed on 1/30/11! Jared and I virtually tried the big boy bed cold turkey. We setup the big boy bed last weekend. Everyday Morris walks into his big boy bedroom and we would talk about sleeping in there and what the routine would be... reading a book, turning on the sound machine, and laying down his head. He never seemed upset about having to move rooms, only excited. Although he was excited, we were still nervous about the transition. We have only made it one night, but last night was a huge success. Morris slept from 7:30 pm until 5:30 am in his new big boy bed. 5:30 is about an hour earlier then he normally wakes up, but Jared and I decided it was still a great night. We are so proud of Morris for sleeping in his big boy bed at 25 months. We are one step closer to Thomas' arrival...
