Growing... Growing...

Morris is growing... growing... growing... We can tell that he is getting taller, talking more, learning more, and playing independently more. Morris is not the only one in our house growing. Thomas is growing in my belly daily. This week was a busy week for me and Morris. Morris had his two year old checkup Monday with Doctor Rick and Nurse Joan. Tuesday was my 28 week checkup with Doctor Knott. Morris - Morris is always excited to see Doctor Rick and Nurse Joan. He went about two weeks ago for his flu shot and was disappointed when he only got to see Nurse Joan. Before we left the house, he announced that he already had his flu shot and didn't need another one. He is too funny to be so little. He walked into the office like a big boy and sat himself down at the table. Joan immediately saw us and called us back. She loved, hugged, and snuggled with Morris. We feel so lucky to have a nurse that is caring and compassionate. Morris hopped onto the scale and weigh an even 28 pounds. Joan then measured Morris, 32 inches. Morris is a little boy. We have always known this. I'm 5'3 and Jared is 5'10. We never thought Morris would be the tallest boy in his class. Doctor Rick and Nurse Joan assured us that Morris is growing just fine. He is on the chart for growth and weight. There is nothing for this worrying mother to worry about. Doctor Rick checked Morris up and down. He said he was perfect! We already knew that, ha! When Morris was one, I didn't let him take the huge round of shots all at once. That meant, we had to take his chicken pox shot on Monday. Morris cried a little and told Nurse Joan he did not need that flu shot. We all giggled... After a great visit we headed home. Me - My 28 week appointment with Jason Knott went great on Tuesday. I had tons of questions to ask him. Even though I am in the third trimester with baby number two, there are some things you just have to re-ask. Most days, I am sure that my bladder is going to fall out. Jason assured me it will NOT. I'm still not sure, but I am trusting him. Thomas is sitting very low, like Morris did. Thomas continually kicks my bladder like a soccer ball. I always feel like I need to use the bathroom. I keep reminding myself only 12 more weeks. The worst part about this visit was the awful glucose test. I did the test fasting at 9:40. I was very hungry and the sugary drink was hard on my stomach. I barely made it out of there without getting sick. Hopefully, the test will be negative and we will have no worries... Monday and Tuesday were great days. We found out that both Morris and Thomas are perfectly healthy growing boys!
