So Close, Yet So Far Away

For the long weekend, we packed up and headed to Auburn. We decided to watch Auburn play #2 Kentucky. We knew prior to the game that Auburn was in a David versus Goliath situation. Although we knew the circumstances, we also knew it would be fun for Morris to go to his first Auburn basketball game.

Morris lasted longer than I expected. At football games, we only made it through the first quarter. At our first basketball game, we made it until half-time. We walked the track for almost thirty minutes as Auburn was making a comeback. Auburn rallied back and almost won - so close, yet so far away. What a game... wish we had seen the end!

They say... Ashley Judd was at the game. Her seat was close to the court. Our seat, was close to the jumbo-tron! Obviously, we missed a picture opportunity with Ashley!
