13 months 2 days

Morris today you are 13 months and 2 days.

What has happened this month...

* It snowed for the first time on January 7th. There was not much snow, but enough for you and daddy to take your picture.

* You went to school for the first time. It was hard at first, but you are starting to like school.

* We drove to Auburn for your first Auburn basketball game. Auburn lost the game to Kentucky.

* Yesterday, you went to Kindermusik. It was a lot of fun to observe how you acted with the music and singing.

* We have been to the doctor two times this month... First for your big one year appointment. At the appointment, you weighed 24 pounds and are 31 inches long. We have completed most of your one year vaccines. We need to take the chicken pox vaccine next week. We went to the doctor a second time for a cold and ear infection. You are almost over the terrible cold. It has been lingering for an entire week.



* You still love to drink apple juice from your cup. You even learned to drink from a straw cup instead of a sippy cup. What a big boy? You are still not crazy about your whole milk, but you will learn to love it.

* You adore playing outside. I know once it warms up we will spend all our time outside. When we walk past your swing, you whine for me to push you. Bud, loves to push you in the swing. You also like when we go for long walks in your stroller. I think you like it because you close your eyes and snooze.


* You are still not walking on your own. You are a super fast crawler, but no walking. I have a feeling it is going to happen this month.


* You have really started talking. Your favorite "words" are... momma, dada, Lo for Louis, bye bye, boo, uh-oh, K for Kaki, sho for shoe, tuck for truck. There are so many more that you say daily... these are the ones that everyone can understand.


Morris we love you tons and tons. We can't wait to see what month 13 will bring...
