Morris started summer school on Tuesday with his favorite teacher Ms. Laura. Summer School is just like regular school. He goes on Tuesday for about four hours; just long enough for me to run a few errands and take a deep breathe... Morris has all his best friends in class with him, Charlie, Jack, Lilly, Miller, Wilson... They were all so excited to play together on Tuesday. We all laugh when we say "play". What we mean is they parallel play or each hold their own toy and do not share, either way, playing is playing.
Morris was so excited to go Tuesday. He helped put on his clothes and even carried his bag out the door. I can never understand it... he loves to go to school, but cries in the nursery on Sunday. Both school and Sunday nursery are in the same room, ugh! I just keep hoping that eventually Sunday school will become as easy as Mother's Day Out.
