Miller had his 4th Birthday Party a few days ago. Claire had worked hard on the preparation to make sure everything went seamlessly. From invitations to party decor, everything was great. I am still giggling about the entertainment.
Claire had planned on having a "pony". A pony seems appropriate for three and four year old's. Morris was excited and had talked about it all week. When we arrived at the party, there was no "pony"! There was a horse. A full grown beautiful blonde named Dixie.
Morris' eyes were large, as were mine. I wasn't sure I was ready to let Morris mount Dixie and go for a ride. After a few minutes, all was right. Morris was atop Dixie and strolling around the Wigley backyard. Morris loved it so much he went for two birthday rides. Thomas, not so much, he mostly enjoyed watching the kids ride Dixie and playing with his cowboy hat.
