Bye, Bye Bottles... I know... I know... Morris is already 13 months old. We should have been finished with our bottle an entire month ago. Well, we weren't. Since the beginning the bottle has always been an issue of debate, breast milk, nutramagen, soy formula, milk based formula... where does the debate end. For us, we tried them all. Morris loved every product and each one was perfect for the stage he was experiencing. As we say around our house, Morris is a "pre"toddler. Pre-toddlers do not take bottles, so here we go...Last night Morris finished the end of a can of formula. Where do we go from here... Our goal is for Morris not to have another formula bottle. We will start weaning from the bottle.
The plan... two nights of water... then, no bottle at all. Morris has been really good lately and only wanted two ounces of formula. He would push it away and not want to finish. I knew we were close to the end of the formula and I would not force him to drink more. That makes me think, that he is also ready to be finished with the bottle. I guess tonight will determine if Morris is really a pre-toddler. Wish us luck!
