Happy Valentine's Day! Today has been a wonderful and busy Valentine's Day. The mood around our house was upbeat even though we knew it was going to be a long day... Our morning started around 7:30. Morris quickly found his Valentine's present, a radio flyer wagon. Jared, Morris, and Louis spent most of the morning putting together the wagon. Once the wagon was completed, Jared piled both boys in the wagon and rode them around the house. Morris really had a great time. Louis... he was mostly nervous. Morris loves the new cup holder in the wagon. He does not realize he can pick his cup up to drink out of it. He simply leans over and takes a big gulp. We could notice the wheels in his brain turning as he was figuring out how to drink the juice. Just like normal... we had to start hustling to make it to church in a timely manner. We made it... good thing... it was a BIG day. Max and Jack, two of our best buddies, were being baptized. The baptism was beautiful and both boys did great. The fun started at the after baptism party. Kelly and Ben did a wonderful job setting their house up and hosting all their friends and family. The kids played, ate, and cried... while the adults tried to keep their sanity. We did get tons of pictures of the children and parents. A great time was had by all celebrating two new members of God's family.
Welcome to The Gladdens in Gadsden... We are a family of four (Jared, Amy, Morris, and Thomas), plus our dog, Louis. We rely on our faith in God and our strength in each other to get us through each day. I hope you follow us on our wild journey that we call our life.
