July 17, 2011 - Thomas's Baptism. The week of Thomas's baptism was a great week at our house. Not only were we celebrating our love and God's love for Thomas, but Jared and I were celebrating our six year anniversary. It has been a wonderful six years together... two babies... changing jobs... moving houses... through all the busyness that life throws you, Jared and I are still as happy as when we started dating at 15 and 16 years old! - Thomas's Baptism was perfect. Our preacher, Reverend Rog

er Thompson, performed the baptism. I always love to hear him talk during an infant baptism. Not only does he talk of the parent's love and God's love for the child, but of the love a child will experience through those in the church who touch his life. Jared and I are proud to be raising Thomas not only in a Christian home, but in a loving church family. - Thomas was perfect during the ceremony. He didn't whimper when water was placed on his head. He just smiled as Roger walked him around the church. - I encouraged Jared to take Morris up to the altar with us for the baptism. I thought Morris should

also be there for his brothers baptism and not playing in the nursery. Morris did great 90% of the time.... the other 10% he laid on the altar. Not as you might imagine in throwing a fit, just quietly laying there and observing everything around him.... that's our Morris. Morris loves his brother more than I could ever express to you. He's just his own person... floats in his own boat... and hears his own beat... He wasn't a problem at all, just Morris. - After a great sermon from Roger, we all went to Kaki and Bud's house for a delicious lunch. Kaki and Bud a

re always so sweet. They opened their home so that I didn't have to stress about cooking or having mine cleaned up with a new baby. We had a wonderful afternoon visiting with all our family that loves us dearly. - July 17, 2011 was a great day at the Gladden house... reaffirming our love for Christ, our love for our children, and the love that Jesus Christ shows to us.
