The Dog Days of Summer are officially gone here in Alabama. The days are still hot, in the 90's, but we are not hitting the high 90's with 100 percent humidity. I enjoy the summer and everything that comes with it... Jared being home every night, swimming everyday, playing at the splash park, and just feeling like you are supposed to be lazy.... Morris loved the summer of 2010. He was such a "big" boy this year compared to last summer. He wore his frog float in the pool and would "kick... kick..." all by himself. He took swim lessons with Coach Paige. He would ride his "bike" up and down our street. We even took him to the beach and he loved the ocean and sand. In general, Morris seemed very independent for an 18 month
old. We already are looking forward to the fall and everything new it will bring into our lives... Morris's second season as an Auburn Tiger, the weather being cool enough to play outside during the day... There is always something new around every corner. As we say goodbye to the Dog Days of a hot Alabama Summer, we can't wait for the cooler weather, the leaves turning colors, and everything wonderful about Fall in the South.
